We drove up the mountain to see the snow and had a blast. The kids were both sick, so they stayed in the car, but Mama hopped out and threw snowballs at their windows. They LOVED it! Logan was laughing hysterically. Kids are the BEST and so are brave Daddy's who drive us to fun places!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Daddy!!!! Daddy got a mountain cake and a FOREST of candles, lol. I tried to make an egg-nog cake, but the cake-mix flavor overpowered the nog. When it comes time for the kids' birthdays, I'll just make them out of frosting, because that's the part they love. Lick, lick, lick, can I have more cake? ;o) WE LOVE you, DADDY!!!! Thank you for coming into this world and being so much to us!

We decided to climb up one of Bern's clock towers with some friends from church. We climbed a total of 312 narrow,spiraling stairs (and then down them again = 624 stairs). I'll be honest, my legs and lungs were about to give out! The view on top was definitely worth the pain. Logan walked the entire way like a champ! Lyndsey was carried half the time with Daddy and the other half with a brother from church. Unfortunately, the noon bells began to chime while we were up at the top and they were really loud; Logan and Lyndsey were not liking that part of it too much.
Bern, Switzerland "Christmas Market." It wasn't all that impressive, but the town was beautiful and the weather was terrific! Where was all the CHRISTMAS stuff at the market? lol.
"Raking the leaves is fun to do to do to do!" We actually raked the leaves twice, because we didn't bag them the first time and then the kids throughout the weeks redistributed them all over the yard. They both helped bag the leaves; they're really great helpers!
Ok, have you ever seen a scarecrow THIS cute? People thought she was adorable and kept saying, "Awww, look at the little scarecrow!" We spent $1.99 on facepaint and that was the total cost of her costume. She really liked dressing up!
Arrrrrrrr ye a pirate? For Logan boy surely war for Halloween, and he be a good one at that. Our little Jack Sparrow.
