Finally!

We finally have internet at our house. We were procrastinators, sorry. We are moved in to our house and are feeling a lot more comfortable here in Italy. Our house is feeling more and more like home as we put things in their places. We like the ward here too. Not quite the Burkburnett Ward, but it will be very difficult to top that! ;o) The people have been very welcoming to us and we have some friends that live about a 5 minute walk away. The neighborhood we live in is so peaceful and green and beautiful! We have a fantastic view of the mountains and there are lots of country roads to walk down. The weather here is a lot like Texas; there have been a ton of thunderstorms and they come literally out of the blue. Sunny one minute, downpouring and thundering the next. It's AWESOME. Reminds me of home. Well at least the thunderstoms remind me of Texas, everything else weather wise is much cooler. I think it has rained a little less than half the time we have been here and Todd hasn't really needed to pull out the shorts to stay cool, not that he has had any to pull out until we got out stuff on Monday. I think the warmest we have reached is about 78 degrees, not bad.

Anyhow, we will post some more pictures here real soon, but until then, here is a brief look at out first trip to Venice. By the way, the family that we took a picture of on the train is the Black's, we are good friends with them and they are the one's who invited us to go with them to Venice....Thank you Black family.
