Feedin' the ducks

It was such a beautiful day today! We saved some bread scraps for a couple days and decided to take the kids to feed the ducks. This goose was a bit over-zealous; there were a few times that we felt its bill over our fingers, lol. The kids weren't scared a bit.

Lyndsey liked feeding the goose, too! It had a funny look in its eyes, like, "Gimme gimme gimme!"

It appears that this is the only creature we fed...

Not so! The Canadian geese were very timid and sweet. They were comfortable around us, until someone brought their dog over, then they jumped in the water. Now who brings their dog to a duck pond? lol. (Ok, we have done that before, too.)

Great picture, but it made me sweat thinking he might very easily fall in that nasty water. Daddy to the rescue, lol.

Lyn loved her freedom, and I didn't worry at all about her because Daddy was so good about keeping an eye on her. Thanks, Todd, that made for a great time! :o)

This is right after getting to the pond. The ducks welcomed us right away. Maybe they smelled the peanut butter and jelly left on the crusts we had for them? lol.


That bridge is so fun to bounce on with the kids... or even by yourself, hehehe.
