Turner Falls!

Our good friends the Hlebaskos, or Tabascos as we call them, invited us to Turner Falls, OK, for Labor Day. It was SO fun! They made ribs and potato salad and pretty much spoiled all of us. Our friends the Hills came too, and it was awesome! :o)
One of the main attractions, the waterfall. It was really stunning. The "lake" beneath it was FULL of people though, so that kind of took some of the charm away, but it was still really beautiful.
Todd took Logan up to the top and they got to look out over everything. They were pretty high up there, too. I am just glad no one got hurt, lol, I would have been sweating bullets watching Logan climb up there. Thank goodness for our adventurous Daddy. ;o)
Lyn finally crashed after hours of fun. She was a trooper and hung in there most of the day. She LOVED playing in the river! We bought her some tennis shoes right before we left for the Falls, but she ended up being carried around all day anyway, lol.
This picture is of a rock "castle" some rich hoitie-toitie had built as a summer get-away spot; it's a state park now.
Possibly the GROSSEST thing I have ever seen! Makes me cringe just thinking about it. No, it's not black mold or moss... it's daddylonglegs! FOR REAL. Click on it to see it up close, yuck!
A family shot outside of one of the castles. It was about 100 degrees out and we were all sweaty, but we had a BLAST!
"I'm the king/prince/princess of the mountain!" The top of the castle.
We climbed like 4 or 5 of these crazy steep and high stairs; GREAT workout. I about had a heart-attack every time Logan went off by himself, lol.

Oh-i'm jealous. We keep wanting to go there but for the last month or so someone in the family is always sick (that's why bryan got us a fire pit, to bring the cook out to us!!). I used to go there for girls camp and can't wait to go back.

and i have to tell you that you look so pretty in the family pic!!
