Logan's Birthday Party early

Well we decided to give Logan his Birthday early on the 4th with the fireworks and all, and especially since earlier in the week we received a phone call from Nelli's dad that he would be coming through and was going to stay a couple nights. Nelli's grandpa passed away recently and John went to see his father one last time and to also take care of the legal stuff. Well he flew out to South Carolina and was driving back to Washington in his fathers car, well along the way he figured he would drop by and we were excited he was able to spend a couple of nights, the 4th of July, and Logan's little birthday party with us. So that was a pleasant surprise. Anyway, here are a few pictures of the big party. The cake Nelli made to look like a big dirt hill and there are little monster trucks on the side going up it.

And....he was successful after a few tries.
We got two stuffed dogs for him...he sure loves to snuggle.And the big present...A battery operated monster truck!

We all had a great time and the cake was tasty, at least for dirt.
For those who don't know, Logan's birthday isn't until the 9th of July...we will open more presents then...from the grandparents.
